By creating an account or using GRIND, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 to use GRIND. If you are under 18, you need verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian.
2. Your account
- You may have only one account.
- Information you provide must be truthful.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
3. Acceptable use
- No fake check-ins. No impersonation. No harassment via BOOM.
- Verification verdicts (PASS, SOFT-PASS, FAIL) are determined by our verification engine and are final at our discretion.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, abuse, or violations of these terms.
4. Health disclaimer
GRIND is not medical advice. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing any fitness regimen. You use the app at your own risk.
5. Squad behavior and BOOM
BOOM is a reputational mechanic — squadmates can flag suspected misses or fakes, and the squad votes. In the current prototype, BOOM does not impose any monetary penalty. We may change how BOOM works in future versions and will update these terms accordingly.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the photos and data you submit. By submitting them, you grant GRIND a limited, non-exclusive license to display your content within your squad and to operate, secure, and improve the service.
7. Intellectual property
The GRIND name, logo, design, and code are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.
8. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
- We may terminate or suspend access for violations of these terms or for legal reasons.
9. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in our registered home state.
11. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email and inside the app, and the “Last updated” date above will change. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
